Proceedings

Proceedings will be published within ‘Journal of Ornithology’ (http://www.springer.com/sgw/cda/frontpage/0,,3-10027-70-9857228-0,00.html). There will be one printed supplement which includes all plenary papers.

In addition, a second supplement will be published online only. It will include the keynote papers of the 48 symposia, as well as up to ca. 100 additional papers which can be submitted by the rest of the contributors to symposia. This online supplement is an integral part of the journal, and is fully indexed.

Keynote speakers are invited to present reviews or mini-reviews of their respective subjects, while manuscripts of selected orals should be original papers.

All papers are subject to peer-reviewing, and will follow the standards of the journal.

As the Proceedings are going to be published in 2007, the deadline for manuscript submissions is December 31, 2006.
Manuscripts must be submitted using the online submission system of the journal at http://www.editorialmanager.com/jorn/default.asp, and must follow the journal author instructions.
Please indicate at submission the respective IOC symposium number.

Proceedings of the 23^rd IOC in Bejing are published as Acta Zoologica Sinica, Volume 52, Supplement.
